- The excellent features of the keyless locks allow you to let your maid or baby sitter access your house while you are not around.
- The system is very easy to install and operate. The system that comes with fingerprint technology can be operated by anyone including your children. You need not spend time using the key to open the lock.
Some cons of the system
- Some of the keyless lock options lose all the data because of power outages or battery drains. This results in the user having to enter all data again including the fingerprints, codes and other settings.
- You could also be locked out if there is a power failure. However there are systems that come with battery backups or regular electrical power.
- These systems are expensive compared to the traditional methods. You should have a large budget if you want to invest in this technology.
- Another major con is that sometimes people can fool the scanner with the picture of a fingerprint or by scanning the depth of its ridges and valleys.
